Illegal Trade in Wildlife

…according the most recent study in online trade in animals and animal products, world leaders and policy-makers still have a lot to address. In 2014, the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) – one of the world’s largest animal welfare and conservation charities – in collaboration with CITES, looked at the online sale of animals and animal products over a six-week period. Meanwhile, the UN recently released their annual Wildlife Crime Report. Below are some of the key findings.
