Other Asian countries are also trying to find their own way to deal with plastic pollution. This is a solid idea for a way to not only reduce plastic usage, but also develop a sustainable business idea. However, it’s still unclear if this approach can be successfully deployed at a larger scale and implemented in different parts of the world. Bet You Won't See This At Piggly Wiggly
A supermarket chain in Thailand is using banana leaves to package produce instead of plastic. As more and more countries ban single use plastic packaging this is a great solution to bundle produce. Unfortunately, I don't see this sort of innovation anytime soon in the US.
